What's with the snow?

We've barely had any snow this year. Our first significant snow fall came in February. Now the second snowfall has arrived, in mid-March. So what's so weird about the snow this year? For unknown reasons the snow decided to arrive on the Holidays.

The first snowfall was on February 14th - Valentine's Day. School was cancelled, the children were at home, and I was in the kitchen trying to cook a special meal.

I realized I was missing the snow, so I sent oldest DD outside with my camera to get some pictures of her siblings. She came back in a while later and I didn't look at the pictures until the next day when everyone was back in school. That's when I noticed - she hadn't taken any pictures of her brother. No biggie, there will be more snow. Plenty of time to get pictures.

Fast forward a month - finally, more snow. Most of it falls in the evening, so the kids get out to play in it the next morning - St. Patrick's Day. And where am I? In the kitchen cooking a special meal. I didn't even think about the camera until the day was over. Oh well, there's always next year . . .
