I'm sure that all of you have been anxiously awaiting an update
The weather has been extremely changeable. We've gone from cold to rather hot for a few days, then back to cold. It rained for a lot of March, and it has hardly rained at all in April. My tulips bloomed about 2 days after my daffodils due to the unusual heat. And my lilacs are in full bloom now, about two weeks early.
On the left are pictures of the Redbud. (Bush?, Tree? Anyone know?) These are in progressive order from the beginning of March to the end of April. The second photo was taken on a rather blustery day, so it was difficult to get the branch to stop swaying enough to snap a picture. By the third photo you can start to see some of the color. (And I thought the flower
buds in the first picture were reddish!) Things
were really taking off by the forth photo. This was following a few of those hot days. It's far more colorful in the last photo, but it's not actually in full bloom yet. I really need to get
outside with my camera again. We've had a few more of those hot days followed by cold rain and it's possible that many of the blooms

The pictures on the right are of my lilacs. I love that as the leaves get bigger you see less and less of the houses across the street. In the final photo they are blooming.
Below are photos of my various flowers. Enjoy.

I love your yard. Around here (alabama) redbuds grow into trees.
I have the worst luck with plants. Love all the flowers you have!
