This past week we took a quick 700 mile jaunt to attend the retirement ceremony of DH's brother. He chose to retire after 21 years of service in the Air Force. The ceremony was very nicely done. 
The nephews (his sons) sang "Proud to be an American" during the service - many eyes were welled up with tears.
The ceremony was a fitting tribute to one of our many American Heros. Congratulations, and thank you for defending our country and working to keep us free.
