Through the Eyes of a 5yo.

Yes, it's been a really long time since I last posted. Days and weeks go flying by and there doesn't even seem to be time to breathe, much less blog. I really enjoyed my youngest DD's vision of her siblings soccer game, so a day or so later I entrusted my camera to her and told her to walk through the house and just take pictures of things that interested her. Here are the results:

She started with a photo of me sitting at the computer. Only she didn't manage to get me in the photo. Next she went into the "foyer", sat on the bottom of the steps and took a picture of the light fixture hanging from the ceiling.

Then she went upstairs and took a picture of her room. She also took pictures of several doorknobs. Most of these doors are continually shut to her, because no-one wants her in their bedroom making a mess.

I have to admit, this next one baffled me for a bit. Then I realized she opened the lid on the hamper and took a picture of the contents. Next she turned upwards and took a picture of the hallway light fixture. (How often does she look at those anyway? Do any of us sit around and contemplate the light fixtures?)

This is her bird's eye view: standing at the top of the steps she took a picture of the front door. (The inside hanging open of course). Then she took a picture of the floor when she was about halfway down the steps.

Next, her shoe. Then, her dress.

A self-portrait. Then, her hair (I have no idea how she managed to hold the camera for this one!).
And lastly, a well-framed shot of all the gifts she was given for her fifth birthday. Apparently, these are the things that are important to my youngest DD.
